Charter flights to Sharm el Sheikh leave from Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Gatwick, while Hurghada/Sahl Hasheesh is served from Manchester and Gatwick, and regular flights travel from London to Marsa Alam International Airport. Egypt is now more accessible than ever, and rumours abound that it will soon be a destination of the budget airlines such as Ryan Air and Easy Jet.
