We concentrate our Portuguese property portfolio in the eastern Algarve, the section of coast stretching from the Spanish border west to Faro. Faro has a modern airport 4kms from the town, and from there it is 660 km along the new A22 motorway, the Via do Infante, to Vila Real de Santo Antonio where a short ferry ride across the river takes you into Spain. Faro has excellent flight connections with most UK and Irish airports, and with Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Spain and Switzerland. Flights also go to/from Luxembourg, Brussels, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Lisbon and Paris. Travellers to Faro from the US need to connect through one of these European destinations.
